The agreements focus on helping enterprises go overseas and accelerating the alignment between Chinese businesses and markets across Latin America and Portuguese/Spanish-speaking regions worldwide.

The newly signed partners cover multiple sectors, including technology, logistics, finance, Internet, and modern agriculture, with detailed cooperation plans now in place to tap into Lusophone and Hispanic markets.

Per the terms of the agreements, the service centre will assist Mercado Libre and Kuaishou Technology in building cross-border e-commerce training systems for Latin America. In addition, Wens Foodstuff Group will bring its pet and animal health products to Brazil, offering Latin American consumers a diverse range of product options.

On the technology front, Neusoft Corporation will accelerate its overseas direct investment (ODI) registration and localization services in Brazil. This initiative will provide Latin America and Portuguese/Spanish-speaking countries with easier access to advanced software and IT services.

In addition, China Southern Sci-Tech will promote aviation technology exports and establish a China-Brazil aviation innovation platform.

Several other companies are happy to provide third-party services to facilitate ties between China and Lusophone/Hispanic economies. WGL Group Ltd will support the launch of direct cargo flights from Macao to cities in Latin America.

Major financial institutions, including the Bank of China and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, will jointly launch cross-border financial services, conduct market risk assessments, and provide targeted policy support for ventures exploring Latin America and the Portuguese/Spanish-speaking markets.

Mobility platform DiDi plans to roll out internship and training programs for university students majoring in relevant foreign languages.

Officially established in April 2025, the Service Centre for Economy and Trade between China and Portuguese/Spanish-speaking Countries is a one-stop service platform connecting China with Portuguese/Spanish-speaking countries.

Beyond the 16 new signatories this time, the centre has also built partnerships with over 200 market entities and professional service providers. Moving forward, it will prioritize deeper integration between China's AI industry and Lusophone/Hispanic markets.

To date, the centre has organized business delegations composed of leading Chinese tech companies to visit Brazil, and built an embodied intelligence innovation hub, driving cross-border application of artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and digital economy in the Lusophone/Hispanic world.
