On July 16, officials from Macao and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin gathered at the Hengqin International Film Studio for a joint exchange event focused on short‑video content creation for social media.

The event marked the latest effort to strengthen cross‑border collaboration in government publicity between Hengqin and Macao.
More than 40 civil servants working in public information and publicity took part in the event, which combined site visits, expert lectures, and hands‑on practice.

Participants toured the film studio to learn about its facilities and industry ecosystem. They attended sessions on how AI can be used in graphic design, article writing, short‑drama production, and the rapid production of public-awareness videos for emergencies.

To help participants involved in government video production gain a clearer understanding of professional production standards, the group visited a production studio after the lectures. Participants tried their hand at lighting setups, camera positioning, and on-site audio recording.

The event is part of a broader push to deepen personnel exchanges between Hengqin and Macao. In recent years, the two sides have been running joint training programs, sharing learning resources, and facilitating on‑the‑job exchanges, to help their public servants learn from each other and grow together.
Going forward, the two sides plan to enhance government services across Hengqin and Macao by expanding cooperation into more areas and creating more platforms for mutual learning.
