The spaceship theme park at Hengqin Chimelong Resort officially reopened on September 24 after a comprehensive upgrade, launching the world's first large-scale embodied AI theme park in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The project is a collaboration between Chimelong Group and AGIBOT.

The opening ceremony featured the world's largest regularly staged "human-robot co-performance" opening dance and the world's first robotic aerial acrobatics performance. AGIBOT also delivered its 20,000th A3 Ultra robot to Chimelong Group, marking a milestone in the company’s push into the tourism sector.

Inside the park, more than 300 AGIBOT robots are now in service across over 100 interactive experience points. They answer questions, introduce exhibits, guide visitors through designated areas, and support performances, games, and robot-assisted learning experiences.

To ensure safe, high-frequency, and close-range human-robot interactions, the park has put in place a comprehensive safety framework covering spatial safety, personal safety, charging-related fire safety, AI safety, data security, and operational safety.

This project signals a new trend in China's cultural industry and tourism, moving beyond simple sightseeing toward deeply immersive experiences. Hengqin also provides a testing ground for robotics, propelling China's embodied AI industry into a new phase of application.
