The 12th Macau Industrial Products Show opened at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 8. Products authorized to use the three labels, namely “Products Inspected by Macao”, “Production Supervised by Macao” and “Designed by Macao”, debuted at the show.

The four-day show, themed “Heritage and Innovation of Macao’s Food” has attracted 130 exhibitors. A dedicated zone was set up to present the labeling policy and certification standards. Three Chinese patent medicines and 78 big health food products were on display.

The labeling policy is an innovative practice for Hengqin-Macao rules alignment and industrial integration. Currently, nine Macao-invested enterprises with 81 products have been authorized with the three labels.

The Commercial Services Bureau will further help enterprises expand sales channels and facilitate the export of Macao food with the three labels.
