The Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin has four public medical institutions, namely: The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University Hengqin Hospital, Hengqin Community Health Service Center, Xiao Hengqin Health Station, and New Neighborhood Health Station. In addition, there are 49 private medical institutions, of which three are Macao-funded and five are jointly established by the Chinese mainland and Macao.
