5. Protection of intellectual property rights;

6. Formulating and implementing investment promotion policies of the zone, organizing the implementation of relevant investment promotion plans, and coordinating foreign cooperation affairs;

7. Supervision, management, and service of foreign investment in accordance with the law; 

8. Reporting of foreign investment information and related work; 

9. Establishment and improvement of the supervision system of investment activities in the zone;

10. Overall planning and coordination of port related issues;

11. Formulating policies and measures to attract international high-end talents, and high-quality, top-notch, skilled, and urgently needed talents;

12. Overall planning of the construction of the cooperation zone, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hengqin Free Trade Zone, and Hengqin International Recreation Island as well as business environment and credit affairs;

5.Supervising local financial institutions including financial leasing, commercial factoring, small loan, financing guarantee companies and pawnbrokers in the zone; supervising trading places involving bulk commodities, rights and interests, and intellectual property rights;

6.Organizing international financial cooperation and exchange for the deepening of regional financial cooperation;

7.Carrying out the overall development plan and the mid-and-long-term development plan; formulating and implementing the annual plans for key construction projects; conducting economic analysis, promoting the business environment and building the credit system, as well as coordinating the related work concerning the development of the Hengqin Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area;

8.Approving, filling in, and initiating social investment projects, as well as supervising the whole process management of government investment projects, including the preparation of annual project plans and the project approval (project implementation, feasibility study and project budget review);
