By the end of February 2026, there were 236 enterprises in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao. The "Macao Supervision + Hengqin Production" mode has been put into practice, and Macao's first pharmaceutical product to be outsourced overseas has completed production in the Cooperation Zone and entered the market in Macao, which is an example of Macao products expanding their industrial capacity in the Cooperation Zone. Traditional Chinese medicine products, food products and supplements produced in the Cooperation Zone and approved and registered in Macao are encouraged to use the "Products Inspected by Macao", "Production Supervised by Macao" and "Designed by Macao" labels. Relying on a public service platform for overseas registration of traditional Chinese medicine products, a total of thirteen products have been successfully registered in Mozambique, and twelve products have obtained registration and marketing authorisation for Chinese patent medicines in Brazil.
